One of the cutest books with an awesome message! I’m a huge fan of kids books that rhyme and actually have a point to them and this one did and had an awesome message we can teach our kids about how to deal with worry!

There are a heap lot of books about worries these days--no surprise--but this one has enough story to save it from Berenstain Bearsdom。 The rhymes all rhyme and read smoothly, the illustrations are bright and simple。 And I like the idea of packing what we Yanks would probably call a "worry box" rather than a tin with objects to help a child when they are worried。 That sort of pro-active suggestion makes this a lot better than its competitors。 There are a heap lot of books about worries these days--no surprise--but this one has enough story to save it from Berenstain Bearsdom。 The rhymes all rhyme and read smoothly, the illustrations are bright and simple。 And I like the idea of packing what we Yanks would probably call a "worry box" rather than a tin with objects to help a child when they are worried。 That sort of pro-active suggestion makes this a lot better than its competitors。 。。。more

Loved the simple way facing fear and anxiety was portrayed by a cute dinosaur but I do wish there was more of a “your feelings are valid and you can only be so prepared” mixed in with the “everything will be okay” ending。

Great illustrations and rhyming text bring to life the worrisome world of a young dinosaur。 A great text for open discussions to find ways of dealing with, and overcoming them worries。

It's a perfect book for Reading slots for children。 If any parents or teachers out there, looking for a book to teach children to recognise and manage feelings, this book will be close to perfect。 It's fun, engaging and the pages are beautifully illustrated。 Children will definitely love it! Great book for kids who worry about things in the future that “might” happen or that they are not fully prepared for… There are ideas kids can use to comfort themselves when they are anxious or worried to help calm them。

The Worrysaurus is a fantastic story of a little dinosaur whose worries start to overtake him on a fun day。 He soon recalls how to deal with these worrisome thoughts and enjoy his day with his friend。 It is a great way to show children how to take control of anxiety。 The artwork is super cute too。 My daughter is possibly just a little bit too young to follow the advice in the book (she's only 2 and a half) but she enjoyed the story and pictures, and I know it will be handy when she gets older an The Worrysaurus is a fantastic story of a little dinosaur whose worries start to overtake him on a fun day。 He soon recalls how to deal with these worrisome thoughts and enjoy his day with his friend。 It is a great way to show children how to take control of anxiety。 The artwork is super cute too。 My daughter is possibly just a little bit too young to follow the advice in the book (she's only 2 and a half) but she enjoyed the story and pictures, and I know it will be handy when she gets older and starts nursery and school。 。。。more

This is really cute! I was a super anxious kid, and I don't think this would have fixed my problems, but I bet it would have helped, and I do hope it helps current kids。 This is really cute! This book follows Worrysaurus through his day。 It explains how he likes his days nice and planned, but he often thinks about all the things that could go wrong。 He tends to overthink everything。 It was a bright and sunny day, but he had heard that it was going to rain, so that was all he could think about。 Then, he reached into his bag and found his happy things。 tI love this book and I love the illustrations。 This book explains anxiety and overthinking so well for younger kids and I think that This book follows Worrysaurus through his day。 It explains how he likes his days nice and planned, but he often thinks about all the things that could go wrong。 He tends to overthink everything。 It was a bright and sunny day, but he had heard that it was going to rain, so that was all he could think about。 Then, he reached into his bag and found his happy things。 tI love this book and I love the illustrations。 This book explains anxiety and overthinking so well for younger kids and I think that it is a book that all kids should read or have read to them。 I think that it perfectly captures the things that people with anxiety think about daily and how there are ways to be and think happy。tI will defiantly have this book in my classroom。 I think that this book could be great for a lesson on anxiety。 I think that there could even be a lesson about helping students find their “happy things” for when they start to get frustrated or overwhelmed。 One of my favorite books this semester。 。。。more

Dinosaur books always have high appeal, so for the right child, this is the perfect jumping-off point to talk about anxious feelings。 I didn't love the ending (everything was sun and roses, which sort of feels like invalidation of dinosaur's earlier feelings), but I think this is a good option to have on hand for certain readers。 Dinosaur books always have high appeal, so for the right child, this is the perfect jumping-off point to talk about anxious feelings。 I didn't love the ending (everything was sun and roses, which sort of feels like invalidation of dinosaur's earlier feelings), but I think this is a good option to have on hand for certain readers。 。。。more

I really enjoyed the book I thought it was important to take about being worried。 I also like that it discussed how to push those feeling away so you can enjoy life。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 This is such a special book! A dinosaur preps for a day on a trail but his anxiousness makes an appearance。 As he sits and thinks about what is happening, he remembers the advice his mom has given。 He also takes out his tin box with items that help him cope。 Before he knows it, his worries go away。I can see this book being used with families, teachers and counselors who want to help anxious children。 The bright colorful pictures will be well-received。

My almost-6 year old keeps asking to read this, which is encouraging! I asked him if he worries about things like the worrysaurus does (obviously he does) and he said cheerfully “oh, not really, just the world ending and everyone dying。” 😳

Awesome Great book worrysaurus worries too much and then shoos away the butterflies。 Good read for 5 year olds。。。。Ok thanks buddy thanks for letting me know

After dealing with severe anxiety for most of my life, I wish this book had existed when I was young。 Everyday I would worry about things out of my control just as Worrysaurus did。 This book teaches kids how to live in the moment and cope with moments of stress or fear。 I will also be adding this to my future classroom。

A brilliantly emotive book that truly tells children that it's completely valid to feel worried and find comfort in personal items that ease your mind。 I read this to the children in my year 1 class and they absolutely loved it! A really sweet book about how to cope with feelings of anxiety without letting them wash over you and ruin your day。 I think nervous hound readers would find this really helpful in a tangible way, I wish I had had it when I was little!

I slowly developed a great admiration for children's literature。 It's very difficult to write and translate。 This one is not soooo well written like the others by the same author, but I loved the content and the message。 And the German translator is phenomenal! SO adorable! This book will help kids who are anxious and like things a certain way realize that they don't have to let that bog them down。 They (and adults) need to learn to be in the moment and enjoy what we are doing instead of worrying about what we can't control。 SO adorable!
